Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) one of the key crucial votes to Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation, stated that she will vote for Brett Kavanaugh When the entire Senate votes on Kavanaugh's confirmation.  Collins stated that even though she believes that Christine Blasey Ford's testimony was "sincere" and "compelling" she couldn't disregard the complete "lack" of corroboration from any of the supposed witnesses.  She also torn into allegations from Julie Swetnick--represented by resistance TV lawyer Michael Avenatti--that Kavanaugh had facilitated the gang raping of several women.  Collins claimed those allegations were "outlandish" and that's why the presumption of innocence is so ingrained into the American consciousness. 

I know some may think it's ironic that Collins and even Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona said they will vote to confirm Kavanaugh, however, former president George W. Bush has been working the phones, according to Breitbart last week, in support of Kavanaugh.  Kavanaugh fits the globalist mold.  He's not strong on the right to life issue nor is he right on illegal immigration.  The Democrats don't have a problem with him.  They've been staging this whole "circus" to put it to Trump.  Trump's not perfect, but he's been doing some things that's went contrary to the direction the globalists desire to take this country, which is why Trump is so hated.  We definitely need another choice besides Kavanaugh to be a Supreme Court member.

How comforting it is that former president George W. Bush is working the phones to drum up support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh following his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.  All we need is for a globalist such as George W. Bush to support Brett Kavanaugh.  Whether or not Kavanaugh is guilty of alleged rape with Ford I have no idea.  He's definitely not a good choice to be the next Supreme Court justice regardless of the merit of the sexual allegations levied against him.  It would be wise if President Trump would nominate someone else who is a true Constitutionalist to the Supreme Court instead of Kavanaugh who isn't going to be strong in his stance against abortion or illegal immigration.  Kavanaugh worked in the Bush White House as staff secretary for a number of years.  In 2006 Bush nominated Kavanaugh to serve as judge on U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

NBC's Megyn Kelly went to Twitter on Sunday morning and blasted Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) for calling Christine Blasey Ford, the women who is accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual harassment in high school, a "survivor of attempted rape."  Feinstein tweeted Sunday that Republicans have been "bullying" Ford in an effort to confirm Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court.  Kavanaugh has denied her accusation and every witness Ford has mentioned has contradicted her account.  In response, Kelly stated that Feinstein had no way of knowing if Ford was an attempted survivor of rape.  She added that Feinstein was implicated by her own reasoning since she "sat on Ford's claims for nine weeks without bring them forward."  Something doesn't add up.  If this was a true accusation and Feinstein had that information at her disposal, she should've brought it to light long before it was time to hold a vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation.  I believe Feinstein is using Ford's "false" testimony to stop Kavanaugh's being confirmed to the Supreme Court.  There's a lot of hole's in Ford's testimony.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Nike should be ashamed in using Colin Kaepernick in advertising their shoes.  Kaepernick is not an example for our country.  If he doesn't want to kneel for the national anthem, then he shouldn't be playing for the NFL.  It's been a tradition for the NFL to play the national anthem prior to the NFL games.  Kneeling while the national anthem is playing is very disrespectful.  Our soldiers have played a huge price for the liberty we enjoy in America.  Kaepernick needs to think about those who have fought and died for our country in years past.  Many black veterans have fought and died four our country.  There have been many blacks who have experienced overt discrimination in years past because of their race but they willingly and bravely fought for our country.  Using Kaepernick for their spokesman is foolish on the part of Nike.

U.S. Steel has announced plans to invest $750 million in at their old 110 steel manufacturing center in Gary Indiana, named Gary Works.  U.S. Steel has announced plans to invest $750 million due to Trump's 25% tariff on steel, which is allowing for American industry to create more jobs.  Steel executive stated that they would will revitalize the Indiana plant which employs 3800 workers, according to the Chicago Tribune.  Click on the above link to read the remainder of the story.

A New School Year is Beginning

This week school starts for many students in the state I reside in as well as states across America.  How time flies.  We started summer break two months ago.  Now we're entering into the 2018-19 school year.  It's the time for school books, extracurricular activities, and everything this is associated with school.  I Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God; a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might." 

When I think about the young people and many of the things they have to contend with in society today, we need to take a great concern about their education and their future.  There are so many distractions that are hindering our young people from fulfilling the potential that they have within them.  Facebook, Twitter, and all the different sorts of social networking distract our young people from taking the time necessary to develop healthy relationships with their peers and older people as well as engage in activities that will develop and strengthen them for the time whenever they go out into the work place to find a job to make a living for themselves.  Also, many young people are having to face great violence in our school systems due to the plethora of school shootings that have taken place in our public schools across the country.

I would encourage the young people to follow what those two verses of scripture and study very diligently and apply it to their lives.  They'll need that to help prepare them for the future.  God expects us to use the gift that's within us and to develop and use it for the glory of God.  That's what the young people need to do with their talents this school year.  The young people are our future and if you want to know what the future of our nation is going to be like, take a look at the state of our young people in our society today.  That's why it's important why they need to be educated.  First of all, they need the Lord in their life.  They need to be saved and to follow the Lord.  Secondly, they need an education to help them to prepare for their future.  We pray and hope that you all have a very safe and productive school year.

Filmmaker and author Dinesh D'Souza explained in his new book that "bigotry" is the unifying glue for the progressives and the Democratic Party.  He explained that one hundred years ago that was the case when Woodrow Wilson was president.  Wilson was a progressive president.  One hundred years in the movie entitled, "Birth of a nation" the Ku Klux Klan was the hero.  He stated the progressive Democrats were saying, "We don't like the founding of our country, so we're starting the country all over again.  D'Souza explained that was the thesis of his book.  He said that if the logic of that book were to be played out, America as we know it will be killed off.  The America of the founding will be extinguished.  D'Souza stated if you know the history of the progressives and the Democratic Party, "bigotry is the unifying glue." 

Dinesh D'Souza is right about the Democratic Party.  The Democratic Party of today are bigots and racists.  Sadly, many of the RINO's have joined that fray as well.  He is correct that many of the progressive Democrats don't like how America was founded.  However, they're not acting alone,  There is a group of wealthy individuals that fund both the Democratic Party and Republican Party.  They control the media in our country.  I refer to these people as the globalists who are out to create a new world order.  This group of people totally want to destroy America's founding roots and create a "new world order" where there is no sovereign America and it's just another country like any other country.  These globalists use both Democrats and Republicans to accomplish their agenda.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Responding to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's warning Sunday that a war with Iran would be the "mother of all wars", President Trump tweeted to never threaten the United States again or they will suffer consequences the likes of which few have suffered before."  That was a good tweet.  Let's hope that Trump will stand on his word and do exactly as he tweeted to Iran's president Hassan Rouhani.  We don't need to allow Iran to stand in the way.  We also need to protect Israel as well from Iran or any country that harms her.  God says I will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel.  That is definitely the truth.

Socialist Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Corez invoked the United States ending slavery and the role that Kansas played while campaigning for Demcratic candidate Jim Thompson of Kansas.  Ocasio-Cortez was campaigning with Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.  She was invoking the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 as the tipping point of the nation at the time in regards to slavery.  Democrat Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defeated ten-term incumbent Joe Crowley of the 14th Congressional district in the Bronx in New York in the primary.  She's promoting her agenda of open borders, the end of ICE and any border enforcement, expanded Medicare, and free college for all people.

It's really amazing because they policies that she and the other Democrats promote is nothing but slavery--slavery that hinders the economy from functioning properly and slavery that has a grip on the entire nation.  Even abortion and gay marriage is slavery.  There's nothing liberating about sin.  Deviating from God's plan for the family unit is slavery.  Licentiousness isn't liberating.  It will enslave you.  The Democratic party is all about slavery.  They promote policies that grow the federal bureaucracy and eliminate the ability for the American people to make their own choices in many areas of their life.  Sad to say, many Republicans have joined in with the Democrats to facilitate their socialist agenda.  God help is Ocasio-Cortez wins in November.

Tariffs Are Essentially to a Robust American Economy

I know there's been much controversy recently concerning President Trump implementing tariffs on steel and aluminum and on goods imported from China.  President Trump is definitely making the right call.  I know radio talk show hosts such as Glenn Beck have been claiming that these tariffs will spark a trade war but the truth of the matter is we've been having trade wars as a result of these faulty trade agreements that have been made under former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush as well as Barack Obama with the Trans-Pacific Partnership which was signed by President Obama but didn't become ratified.  Thank God for that.  The purpose for tariffs in a historical context was to protect the industry of that particular nation.  That's what the United States has done since the beginning of the Republic and it continued for years to come.  As a result, American industry grew to unprecedented heights.  The United States has shown over the years that if the capitalistic systems isn't hindered by excessive government regulation or trade agreements which send millions of American jobs overseas, it can do great wonders.  That's why so many immigrants from other countries in Europe and the Far East have sailed to America's shores to live in America.  They knew the economic opportunities in American were endless.  That's why they sailed to America's shores.  They not only moved to America in search of better economic opportunity, but they assimilated into our culture and learned the language and did everything they could to become an American. 

President Trump may be far from perfect, but he is right on target with the tariffs he is implementing on steel, aluminum, and goods from China.  If America's economy is going to thrive and grow like it needs to, then we need the tariffs to protect America's economy.

In one of President Trump's morning tweets, he addressed the swirling controversy around his press secretary Sarah Sanders, who was asked to leave the restaurant which is called Red Hen Restaurant from Lexington, Virginia last Friday evening.  She was asked to leave the restaurant because she works for President Trump and the restaurant's owner and staff don't like President Trump.  Trump stated the Red Hen Restaurant needs to focus on cleaning its filthy windows, canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job).  He said they needed to do that instead of refusing to serve a fine person such as Sarah Sanders.  He said he has a rule if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, then it's dirty on the inside.  It's tragic.  I wouldn't waste my time at a restaurant like that.  As much as I don't care for the last few former Presidents, I would refuse service to them or their staff because I strongly disagree with them politically.  I encourage Sarah Sanders not to darken that place again.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Of the 435 House seats, 336 seats aren't competitive--180 held by Democrats, 156 held by Republicans.  Only 15 of the 99 House seats that are competitive are held by Democrats, whereas 84 competitive seats are held by Republicans.  Republicans have 69 more seats that are at risk in the competitive districts.  Democrats, on the other hand have much fewer non-competitive seats.  You can thank the leadership of House Speaker Paul Ryan and the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for the Republican Party for being at the risk they are politically.  They deserve to lose.  The GOP has fought against Trump on the issues that Trump was on the right side such as repealing the Affordable Act, and the building of the border wall, to name a few.  I don't feel sorry for the GOP.  The voters are tired of fraudulent Republicans pretending to support issues the mainstream of Americans support.  Click on the above link to read the rest of the story.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed a plan Thursday to give teachers a 20% pay raise; ending their six-day walkout after a dramatic all-night legislative session and sending a majority of the states one million public school students back to the classroom.  Ducey's signature awarded the teachers a 9% pay raise in the fall and another 5% in each of the next two years.  The 20% always included a one percent pay raise from last year.  Teachers didn't receive everything they hoped to achieve during the all-night legislative session but they won substantial gains from reluctant lawmakers.  Ducey stated the teachers had "earned" the raise and the legislation session was a win for both teachers and students.  The pay increases will cost about $300 million from the coming year along.  Click on Breitbart.com to read the remainder of the story.

Former First Lady Barbara Bush passed away on April 17, 2018.  She had been in declining health for some time.  It was announced early last week that the former First Lady only wanted "comfort care", which is medical care necessary to keep you comfortable prior to death. 

The former first lady was born in 1925, she was born in Rye, New York on June 8, 1925.  Her father late became president of the McCall Corporation, the publisher of popular women's magazines, Redbook and McCall.  She met her husband, George Herbert Walker Bush when she was 16.  They both married in 1945, after George H.W.'s service in World War II.  She bore six children through him.  One of them, Robin Bush, died of leukemia in early childhood.  Her eldest son, George W., was president from 2001-2009.  Barbara's husband, George H.W. Bush was vice president of the U.S. from 1981-89 and later was elected president for one term from 1989-1993.  While she was First Lady, Barbara Bush was a huge literacy advocate.  She founded the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.  Bush was also the matriarch of the Bush family as well.  She is the only former First Lady since Abigail Adams to have both a husband and son as president of the United States.

President Trump made the decision to terminate Secretary of State Rex Tillerson citing differences of opinion on such issues as North Korean diplomacy, steel and aluminum tariffs, and the Iran nuclear agreement.  Trump stated he believed Tillerson will be happier outside the administration.  Trump stated he appreciated Tillerson's business experience at Exxon-Mobil, but both had sharp difference of opinion on foreign policy.  Trump has nominated CIA Director Mike Pompeo to be the new Secretary of State.
