Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson Resigns

Former Police Officer Darren Wilson

City officials in Ferguson, Missouri addressed the resignation of Darren Officer, the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown in a struggle on August 9, 2014.  Wilson was told that it would be best that he resigned because his presence in the police force could put the safety of the police force and residents of Ferguson at risk.  To read the full story, click on the above link.

Oil, Gas Prices in Freefall as OPEC Reels From U.S. Fracking

Oil, Gas Prices in Freefall as OPEC Reels From U.S. Fracking

What America needs to do is to stop relying on foreign oil, whether it comes from the Middle East or other countries.  I appreciate the lower gas prices at the pump.  However, America needs to supply their own energy needs instead of importing oil from other countries.  We need to invest in our own energy instead of holding ourselves hostage to OPEC.  I'm curious if OPEC is trying to go to war with the U.S. fracking energy so they can go out of business and OPEC be the only supplier we have in regards to oil.  We don't need foreign oil.  We have enough resources where we can use our own oil to supply America's energy needs.

Tis the Season

The Bells of Christmas--Julie Andrews

Christmas season is upon us once again.  And as always it's another big year for The Christian Worldview.  I always look forward to featuring Christmas posts.  This year I will be featuring Christmas music from different artists such as the late George Beverly Shea, to name a few.  I'll also be featuring Christmas posts involving the culture of Christmas and the origins of certain Christmas traditions.  I'll also be constructing a few posts dealing with thoughts on scripture.  One of the thoughts I'll be dealing with is "What is Christmas all about?"  That thoughts came from the Charlie Brown Christmas special which first aired on December 9, `1965.  Charlie Brown was depressed concerning the over-commercialization of Christmas.  He would pose the question, "Can anyone tell me what Christmas is all about?" (paraphrasing)  Linus told him the true meaning of Christmas by quoting Luke 2:8-14 in the authorized King James Version.  That show has been a hit since that time.  I want to focus on the though on "what is Christmas all about."  I can tell you Christmas isn't about Santa and his reindeer nor gift-giving, etc.  I don't have a problem with gifts, Christmas trees, nor Christmas decorations.  However, Christmas is much more than that.  I revolves around the birth of Jesus and the fact he was sent to this earth by the Father so that one day he would die upon the cross to forgive mankind of his sins.  That's what Christmas is about.  I'm excited about this Christmas season.  Let's begin the Christmas season celebrating by celebrating it the right way and not allowing ourselves to be overly engrossed with the shopping, etc.  Let's meditate upon the Lord and celebrate his birth.

Protests in Ferguson Dwindle; Mass Arrests at California Rallies

Protests at Ferguson Dwindle; Mass Arrests at California Rallies

These riots that took place at Ferguson, Missouri following the grand jury's decision not to charge office Darren Wilson over shooting Michael Brown on August 9th are preposterous.  There's no excuse for that foolishness.  You don't look at torch a town because you don't like the verdict the grand jury hands down, whether or just or unjust.  It's plain wrong.  Click on the above link to read the full story.

Donald Trump: Republicans are All 'Talk' and No Action

Donald Trump: Republicans are All Talk and No Action

Donald Trump is exactly right.  The GOP is nothing but talk.  They love to give their talking points while on Fox News, nationally syndicated radio talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, and Sean Hannity, etc.  Consequently, when it comes down to action, they're not there.  They make vain promises which are nothing but bold-faced lies.  I have no confidence in them.  It's a shame.  Sadly, I don't expect much from the GOP in the 113th Congress.

Pelosi Compares Obama Immigration Order to Emancipation Proclamation

Pelosi Compares Obama Immigration to Emancipation Proclamation

House Minority Leader tends to show her stupidity quite often.  This latest statement she made comparing the Obama immigration order to Emancipation Proclamation is lunacy.  Comparing illegal immigrants to black slaves prior to the Civil War shows she's full of hot air.  Blacks were shipped to America against their own will as slaves by the African slave trade.  Illegal immigrants came to America unawares by their own volition.  Those who come to America by means of immigration can become U.S. citizens going through the citizenship process.  Illegal immigrants aren't slaves in America held against their own will.  It's that simple.  Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts are nothing but traitors to America.  To read the full story, click on the above link.

FCC Official Warns Obama-Backed net neutrality Plan Would Bring 'Immediate" Internet Tax

FCC Officlal Warns Obama-Backed Net Neutrality Plan Would Bring Immediate Internet Tax

President Obama has been proposing new regulations for the internet and an FCC Commissioner Mike O'Reilly state this could result in an internet tax for internet users if Obama's proposed regulations come to reality.  I believe the purpose in the President proposing new FCC regulations concerning the internet is a means for the government to have control over what comes through the internet.  That's my belief.  To read the full story, click on the above link from

White House Taunts GOP on Climate Change

White House Taunts GOP on Climate Change

The best thing that President Obama can do is to knock it off about climate change.  All this talk from our elitists concerning climate change is nothing but bogus science.  Our elected elite wants to use this to control the American people.  If the GOP has any sense, they need to stand their ground against the Obama administration and the EPA imposing regulations which will cripple our economy.  I believe in sensible environmental regulations but you don't have to destroy the economy to ensure the environment is safe.  As I've said earlier about climate change, we've had climate change for centuries.  We have four seasons of the year.  The climate is going to change from cold to hot each year.  That's part of the natural cycle.  Click on the above link from Washington Times to read the full story.

Ten Executive Actions Being Weighed by President Obama on Immigration Plan

Ten Executive Actions Being Weighed by President Obama on Immigration

President Obama is gearing up a 10-point plan to overhaul U.S. immigration policy via executive action.  President Obama has been threatening to sign an executive order so he can push his amnesty policy on the American people.  The President is expected to make the move early next week.  This executive order amounts to nothing but amnesty for illegal aliens.  It will be very damaging to the country.  Also, it's a power grab that's not afforded to the president by the Constitution.  However, the president doesn't care.  He's concerned about pushing his amnesty agenda on the American people and it will change the face of this country.  Also, by attempting to issue this executive order, he'll be playing a dictatorial role by pushing his agenda through executive order.  To read the full story, click on the above link from

McConnell: We Will Not be Shutting the Government Down

McConnell: We Won't be Shutting the Government Down

mcconnellSenate Majority Elect Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

Of course he won't!  Mitch McConnell is content with high deficits.  He likes government himself.  He's not going to rein in President Obama's reckless spending nor will he prevent the funding of Obamacare or prevent the funding of President Obama's threat of issuing an executive order to legalize amnesty.  McConnell stated that a continuing resolution will pass in mid-December, which will continue funding the federal government until sometime next year.  McConnell's just another RINO like John Boehner, Jon Cornyn, Kevin McCarthy and other Establishment Republicans.  To read the full story, click on the above link from

Obama Vows Drastic Emissions Cut, Gets Little Back From China in New Deal

Obama Vows Drastic Emissions Cut

President Obama and Chinese President XI Jinping

President Obama announced on Wednesday that the U.S. has set a new goal of reducing emissions of greenhouse gasses from 26 to 28 percent over the next 11 years as part of a climate change agreement with China.  This is a drastic increase from Obama's agreement earlier in his presidency when he vowed to reduced emissions by 17 percent in 2020.  Obama's counterpart XI Jinping pledged to decrease emissions of greenhouse gasses but hasn't set a date.  China has been building a number of coal plants recently.

What benefit is it for the U.S. to made an agreement with China to reduce emissions from greenhouse gasses if they don't live up to their bargain?  Another problem is this agreement will more than likely force the U.S. to burn less coal and as a result, taxpayers will be paying higher energy bills, which is something the American people don't need forced on them.  Families are struggling enough as it is trying to make ends meet without adding unnecessary rate increases.  To read the full story, click on the above link from
