House Intelligence chair: Benghazi attack 'Al Qaeda-led event' | Fox News
According to multiple on-the-record interviews with the Head of the House Intelligence Committee, the 2012 Benghazi attacks was an Al-Qaeda-led event. They were pre-planned in advance. That's what Mike Rogers (R-MI) said in a November interview to Fox News. The New York Times stated in their 'investigation' that the attacks were led by local militias and an anti-Muslim video played a role in inciting the attackers.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was an Al-Qaeda-led event. It happened on the 11th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks upon the World Trade towers and the Pentagon.
