High Court Ends Liberty University Lawsuit Over Obamacare

High Court Ends Liberty University Lawsuit Over Obamacare

Here's the problem with this decision:  The Supreme Court back in June 2012 that the individual mandate issue that Obamacare requires is constitutional so therefore, if the Supreme Court were to review this case and give it the proper ruling, it would have to invalidate the ruling it made in June 2012 when it said that Obamacare was constitutional.  They're won't do that.  So therefore, the Supreme Court can't give an impartial ruling on issues dealing with Obamacare unless they invalidate the case in June 2012.  The case with  Liberty University also went after the provision with Obamacare which state that employers have to provide health care for their employees or pay a fine.  So there wasn't any way the Supreme Court was going to rule impartially given the fact they ruled in favor of the individual mandate in June 2012.

How the Supreme Court is going to handle the Hobby Lobby case dealing with employers providing contraceptives to their employees I don't know.  We'll find out when they hear that case next year.  To read the full story, click on the above link from FoxNews.com.
