Texas Governor Rick Perry vowed that he won't allow Texas to be held hostage to the Obama administration into accepting Medicaid expansions.  He said the attempt to do so would be foolish and short-sighted.  He said doing so would take up more of the state's budget.  In other words, Medicaid expansion would be too costly to the state.  I hope Governor Perry sticks to his guns.  Whether he will or not is questionable.  More times than not money does more of the talking than principle.
