Republicans Would Rather Protect the Wealthy Than First Responders, Obama Says

Republicans Would Rather Protect the Wealthy Than First Responders, Obama Says | CNS News

Obama

President Obama once again is playing this class warfare game.  He claims his top priority his second term was to do everything they can to grow the economy and create good-paying middle-class jobs.  According to Obama, the way that's to be done is to take more tax money from the wealthy Americans, along with the higher tax rates Congress went along with a few months ago.  The truth is you don't grow the economy by taxing the wealthy.  One must realize when Obama says we need to tax the wealthy higher rates, he's thinking in terms of creating more public sector jobs, which is funded by taxpayer dollars.

Demonizing the rich is plain wicked.  We have a den of thieves in Washington, D.C.  It's thievery to speak of tax increases when Congress and the President have ran up the deficit to the tune of $16.5 trillion dollars.  It's inexcusable.  The government is all about punishing the rich and giving money to those who want to live off the government.  It's the "evil rich people" who create jobs.   Poor people don't create jobs to grow the economy.  I do recognize there are some individual wealthy people who are crooked.  However, punishing an entire class of rich people is outright immoral.  Those who have accumulated their wealthy illegally should be punished individually.  Our present tax code is ludicrous.  The answer is to abolish the tax code and institute a flat tax upon all Americans who work a job, regardless of income level.  The issue of raising taxes isn't about raising more revenue--it's about controlling the lifestyle of Americans.
