President Obama Nominates John Brennan as CIA Director | The White House

Following his nomination of former Nebraskas Senator Chuck Hagel as the next Secretary of Defense, President Obama announced Monday his selection of 25-year CIA veteran John Brennan as the next director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).  Brennan had served as President Obama's Advisor for Counterrorism and Homeland Security since 2009.
