Romney Defends Donor Comment

Romney defends donor comment, says more jobs will mean more taxes | Fox News

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Fox News Neil Cavuto

Mitt Romney, in an interview with Neil Cavuto on Fox News, defended his comments from a fundraiser earlier this year in which he said that nearly 47% of Americans will vote for President Obama this fall, no matter what.  Romney said many of them don't pay federal income taxes and they are his base supporters.  He said they believe they are also victims.  The sad truth of the matter is Romney's right.  This race appears it will be close this fall even though the pendulum has appeared to be swinging in Obama's favor last week due to the Libyan attack.  There are a segment of Americans that are dependent upon the government for food stamps and other government services.  They believe that the government owes them a living.

We are living in an America that has been dumbed down as a result of illegal immigration.  Also, attitude changes about the role of government differ among the various age groups.  A large core of Obama's supporters derive from young people ages 18-30.  Mitt Romney should be utilizing the opportunity to be the "educator-in-chief" to Americans.  He could educate people on how the economy functions.  He could explain to Americans what the American dream is all about.  Romney could teach people that satisfaction comes from labor, not from the federal government.  He should explain that you'll have more self-esteem if you'll work for your.  Romney's family are the embodiment of success.  Both Romney and his father accumulated their wealth through labor.  The American dream is about possessing the freedom to worship God and eat the fruits of your own labor.  Our early forefathers who came to America weren't looking for a handout from the government.  They came to worship the Lord according to their conscience and to make their own living.  There's much Romney could do to educate the public but he won't because he's a tool of the forces of Nimrod.
