Lindsey Williams was a missionary to Alaska in 1971.  He had been an ordained preacher for a few decades.  The Trans-Alaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, and because of Williams' love for country and the spiritual welfare of the pipeliners, he volunteered to serve as the "chaplain on the pipeline" with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company.  Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to information about the energy situation in America.  After numerous public speaking engagements in the western states, certain government officials and concerned individuals encouraged Williams to place into print what he saw and heard, stating they felt this information was vital to national security.

In 1980 Williams wrote the book entitled, "the Energy Non-Crisis" stating the energy crisis is a fabrication from the federal government.  He states there's no such thing as peak oil.  I listened to his lecture on this subject and I thought it was very fascinating.  It is an eye-opener.  This is something all Americans need to be aware of.  When listening to this, you'll realize all the hype about America becoming "energy independent" is nothing but a farce.  I made that statement in a blog post in 2009.  It's been nearly 38 years since the Arab Oil Embargo of 1973.  Our politicians have been lying to us all these years.  They have no intention to rid America of dependence on foreign oil.  Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger made a deal with the Arab countries in the 1970's which says that America will purchase its oil from the Middle East and the Middle East will in turn purchase our debt.  The deal says America won't use it's own oil resources.  America must purchase oil from the Middle East.  As a result, America can't tap into its own oil reserves due to the deal made with the Arab countries in the 1970's.  Kissinger and his cronies should be tried for treason as far as I'm concerned.  Kissinger has been nothing but a traitor to this country.
