President Obama Leaves Town

Nov. 6: President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama make a statement after their visit the memorial for the Nov. 26, 2008 terror attack victims at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India.

(Fox News) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made the statement that President Obama was envious of the Asian trip she was on during the midterm elections.  President Obama stated that as soon as the elections were over with he was "going to get outta town" (I'm paraphrasing).  Really, you can't blame him.  After being trounced in the House by the Republicans, why would President Obama want to hang around Washington, D.C. explaining why the Democrats lost control of the House and the Republicans made gains in the Senate?  Last Thursday President Obama and his wife Michelle embarked on a 10-day Asian tour--first to India then to Seoul, South Korea for the G-20 summit.  The trip is one of the most expensive trips they've embarked upon so far.

President Obama was in India supposedly trying to promote $10 billion in trade deals in hopes of creating more jobs in the United States--possibly 54,000 jobs.  He was also trying to secure a permanent seat for India in the United Nations as well.  While Obama was down there he was bowing down to religious figures in India and even he and Michelle participated in dances with Indian children in Mumbai.  The official business was conducted in New Delhi.  His stated purpose for his trip to India and Asia was to help bring jobs to America. It is a "jobs strategy" for America, according to the President.  We'll wait and see.

One of the best things that's happened is the thrasing the Democrats experienced in the House of Representatives and many state legislatures and governorships across America.  I recognize there are numerous Republicans that are RINO's.  However, I'm glad to see many Democratic incumbents soundly defeated in many races.  I'm glad that President Obama's away for the time being.  It will give him some time to "rethink his strategy" for next year when the Republicans take charge of the House.

From my observation of President Obama, I don't think he knows what it means to be an American.  He's a globalist.  He fits well with the "new world order" crowd.  The agenda he's pushing to transform America is a socialist/communist agenda.  By the time President Obama's finished transforming America, she will resemble socialist Europe.  I hope he enjoys his time in Asia.
