Is the Murder of Dr. George Tiller Justifiable?

Last Sunday on May 31, 2009, Dr. George Tiller was murdered at a Lutheran church service in Wichita, Kansas by Scott Roeder. He was a late term abortion doctor who had been performing abortions since the Roe vs. Wade decision came out in 1973. He had an abortion clinic that was bombed in 1985. Many abortion rights groups will view those that are pro-life as extreme right-wing religious zealots.

The question that needs to be asked is was it justifiable for Scott Roeder to murder Dr. Tiller? The answer is no. Even though Dr. Tiller will have the blood of innocent babies on his hands on Judgment Day, you don't right a wrong by commiting a wrong. God says in his word, "Vengeance is mine". There's a proper chain of command involved when it comes to punishing wrongdoing. Even though we have a corrupt government that tries to usurp authority over American's lives, there's still a proper way to handle things. Sadly our government places their stamp of approval on all kinds of abortions--even late-term abortions. What needs to be done in the pro-life community is we need Right-to-Life pregnancy centers that will take in unwed mothers so they can be given another option besides abortion. Counseling unwed, pregnant mothers is another thing that needs to be done. That would have a more positive impact in stemming the tide of abortion than bombing abortion clinics and murdering abortion providers.
